The series deadlines works according to the coming-of-age principle, only the women in question are no longer young people, but in their early, if not late, thirties. They have few appointments and often find it difficult to sit down. Elif, Lena, Franzi and Jo grew up in Frankfurt, they call themselves Goldstein Girls after the settlement in the southwest of the city. In the first season it was about wedding plans, the desire to have children, vegetable boxes and ecstasy, always flanked by quotes from the nineties and noughties.
