Sahra Wagenknecht could not have chosen a worse anniversary for a talk show appearance. Almost exactly a year ago, the left-wing politician sat by Anne Will and has spoken of “talking about” a Russian invasion of Ukraine. Russia has absolutely no interest in invading there and one should be “rejoiced” that Putin is not the way he is portrayed in the West: “a crazy nationalist who gets drunk on pushing borders”.
