Nimona made its long-awaited debut on Netflix in the summer of 2023, and the film was a massive hit, pleasing new viewers and fans of the graphic novels alike. The film follows a young shapeshifter named Nimona and a rogue knight named Ballister Boldheart as they attempt to take down the Director and her authoritarian rule over the kingdom. Nimona features a unique mix of sci-fi and fantasy, with it’s beautiful animation style and high energy making it one of the standout animated films of 2023.
