I remember exactly where I was when Clemens Setz won the Büchner Prize. On twitter. This day in July 2021 is probably the only day that will stay with me from the bird side, like other moon landings and the fall of the wall, because on this one day there was something that had never been experienced on Twitter before: unity. The masses of the (admittedly small) literature bubble cheered, “the arts section” (as they say on Twitter) cheered, the Twitter leftists (as they say in the arts section) cheered, and everyone, really everyone agreed: it has it hit the right one.
