After a corona-related transfer to the casino city of Las Vegas, the award ceremony returned Grammy Awards 2023 on February 5th (local time) back to Los Angeles, California.
R&B-Queen cleared up the evening Beyonce. The singer won four of the Gramophones and, with a total of 32 trophies, is number one in the all-time best list. Previously, the British-Hungarian conductor Georg Solti had held the record for the musician with the most awards with 31 Grammys.
The Germans also made history Kim Petras. She is the first trans winner in the pop duo category along with SamSmith. In addition to three main categories, the prizes were awarded in individual musical genres, such as pop, Rock, Metal, Classical, Reggae, Latin, R&B or Alternative.
