The BET Awards will return for its 2022 version on June 26 with Taraji P. Henson back to have the yearly service observing Black greatness in music, film, TV and sports at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
The honors got back to a live occasion last year in the wake of going virtual in 2020 cycle, with Henson driving a show that drew 2.4 million watchers across then-ViacomCBS networks including BET Her, MTV, Logo and VH1 by means of simulcast.
With the actual service, The Countdown to BET Awards preshow and DJ Cassidy’s Pass The Mic: BET Awards Edition get-together, BET alone scored 4.6M watchers across its eight hours of inclusion.
The current year’s show, which will air live on BET at 8 p.m. ET/PT, will be managed by Connie Orlando, EVP Specials, Music Programming and Music Strategy, with Jamal Noisette, VP Specials, Music Programming and Music Strategy a co-chief maker for BET. Jesse Collins Entertainment’s Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay are leader makers.

I can hardly stand by to observe Black music, diversion, and culture with our watchers on what will be one remarkable evening.”
